Did you know?

  • You can think of small particle cleaning as super-detailed cleaning, with the goal of removing nearly all of the dust and particulate from your home in a brief period of time.
  • Following resolution of a meaningful mold exposure or remediation, many medically-affected people will need their home and/or belongings cleaned of secondary contamination. This is because airborne contaminants from a source of water damage can spread throughout a home over time and settle on surfaces.
  • Looking for professionals to help you with small particle cleaning? ISEAI has a list of medically-aware IEPs who can create a plan for your house and belongings.

Who created this guide?

The ISEAI Indoor Environmental Professional Committee is a group of highly credentialed and experienced indoor environmental professionals who have specialized experience with medically-sensitive patients. The Committee reports to the ISEAI Board of Directors and provides education to clinicians and the public on topics of mold, indoor air quality and contaminants.
